This album is an experimental piece derived from material recorded under my Rosen Corporation alias. It takes several tracks and reworks them into an ambient mixed collage, creating and evoking atmospheres and moods of sci fi urban environments. A lot of my work is inspired by Blade Runner, so this inspiration runs through the piece. It has a Vangelis sensibility, but more in an ethereal sense. There are no Vangelis samples, or samples from the film used, though some of the rain and storm samples were sourced from freesound.org.
The piece was recorded, mixed and arranged live in one take.
