Currently embracing my Scifi fanboy side. Having recently seen "Blade Runner 2049" I was inspired to construct something in a Blade Runner vibe. (I have already created a number of Vangelis tribute tracks in a BR-ish style via my Rosen Corporation pseudonym). And initially I did create a few more tracks a bit like that, bringing out the CS80 vst clones etc! ("Black Out" & "Interlinked" on my Rosen Corporation page); however this mix is something slightly different. Its drawing on material from a few years back, whilst also bringing in some of my "Non Dreamers", "Rosen Corporation" and "S. A. Fred" tracks into one long semi narrative structure.
Lots of moody electronic atmosphere's then, alongside the requisite bleeps and blops, with some moody IDM, Vangelis tributes, and some dark trip hop. Throw in a bit of Berlin school and some quieter ambient sections, and its a quite varied journey. For consistency everything has had a remaster buff up. Hope you enjoy the trip!

"Held in suspended animation, the Humanoid figure is skinned with synthetic flesh. AI Robot machines gracefully sculpting life from a Human Simulacrum blueprint.

The Replicant awakes. Her eyes open to survey the white clinical construction lab. She at once realises what she is; a Replicant, an artificial Human being, yet the involuntary recollection of an implanted childhood memory provides a soothing comfort.

Memory presented as real, yet equally as constructed and hyper-real as her physical body.

She walks down a dimly lit featureless corridor, toward a doorway that is seemingly much brighter. After walking for some minutes, she arrives and enters a bright hall; all at once holographic countryside scenery assembles around her, and her ears are greeted by birdsong and the sound of distant running water. The air smells sweet with the scent of summer flowers.

Education is bitter sweet. The countryside is but a stored archive experience to show what once was. The hologram reconfigures to show what is… A bleak grey misty landscape scarred by climactic change and man made abuse..."
